    Anyone from or near Longton??

    Doing abit of work down there for the next few days so just wondering
    Any decent shops about? or even any JD sports, sports world or anything to kill an hour or so?

    There's a sports direct.com, but apart from that I don't know Longton very well.

    anywhere within half hours walk of the main tesco/next area really

    Sports direct is 2 minutes from there. If you come out of Tesco and head in a 10 o'clock direction you'll eventually come to it when you go left around the corner at the end of the far car park.

    Make sure you try a wrights pie before you return home - meat and potatoe is best.

    both to be honest - I lived in London for 15 years and never found better pies than wrights.....
