    Im here in peace...

Firstly let me say well done and how good a second half of the season you lot had. Im not sure but, from memory wasnt that your highest finish?

Anyway looking forward to locking horns again and for those of you who ever doubted me, make sure you travel to Loftus Rd for the away game to realise the depth of pure hatred there is for Hughes.

Obviously you guys dont care (and i dont blame you) but it may elighten you a bit to our opinions.

Anyway, hope you have a good season (except against us of course) and lets hope they are good games.

    good luck <ok>

Welcome in peace and congratulations on your promotion.

Hughes proved a lot of folk wrong, me included and I was suck of all the humble pie I ate.

Yes - highest position, highest number of points AND a really pleasing standard of football.

    Long may it continue.

    All the best

    Nick

Welcome back Queenslander. I was worried that something was wrong when you went quiet in the second half of the season :-D

    Congratulations on your promotion.

Like other Stoke fans, I had to eat humble pie, but I was happy to. Mr Hughes did well in the second half of the season. Long may it continue.

See you at the Brit next season; roll on August!

    A true fan <applause>.

Just a 20,000 odd mile round trip <yikes>

What was more expensive the airline ticket or the Wembley ticket ?

    Cheers Nick

Flights were $2k but tickets were suprisilngly easy to come by. Got mine in 222 (middle tier at half way)

24 guys flew out of Aus and Singapore for the game.

    Worth every cent spent <ok>

Didn't know QPR had that may fans <whistle>

NZ the place to be today, All Blacks -v- England !!

How long have you lived in Oz? Only been once, went to Freemantle/Perth on an Aircraft Carrier in 1963...no skyscrapers etc then, more like Dodge City with the pubs open a couple of hours a day!!

Happy days down under...Oz wasn't bad either

Well Queenslander I thought you went remearkably quiet after Stoke beat Man Utd on 1st February. Yes the season just got better and better as it went on! To beat Arsenil, Chelsea and Man Utd in the same season was top drawer.

I hope you saw the televised game against Villa where we played superbly, likewise we were playing with West Ham and promptly sent Fulham down. Sorry they have gone given it is the best area in London to play football!

I am coming out to OZ, including Queensland in November so will miss a few games.

Best of luck next season I think you may need it!
