Aguero says in this interview that City managed to score the winner due to QPR knowing they were safe.

And he's right. A point I've been trying to make since the final whistle went. Good to see Neil Dejyothin in your tactical breakdown thread acknowledging this too.

I know a lot of people on here are saying..So what! ... At least we stayed up, but this has been gnawing away at me ever since. Of course I can appreciate the ' We lost the battle but won the war ' mentality. Truly I can. But we could of and should of had both. It really grips my **** that after all that hard work and endeavour that we let it slip at the death. Not good. I think Sparky would think so to, how much would he have loved to have seen this one out? For all intents and puporses his £20m outfit tactically out thought Mankini's £190m mob. ( £250m inc subs. ) How sweet would that of been. I couldn't give a **** about denying Utd the title either, as I hate all the monsters of the Premier league. They're all as bad as eachother. Nor do I go for this City QPR love-in ****. If we had beat them they would have wanted to crush your skulls outside the ground. Next season they will not feel anything towards us if they beat us 8-0. This defeat hurts more for me, than any we have suffered all season.

And...following your Bothroyd is to blame...post, I too summed up the courage to re-watch the events of Sunday's game. Quite franckly I'm f**king fuming. Bothroyd should never ever play for us again. He made no effort whatsoever to retain posession. I've really got the hump about it.

Nines, you truly are a son of QPR. And I don't think we're alone either. There were a lot of guys who posted similar things after the match although not with as much vigor.

Can't wait to see COL's opening gambit on this tomorrow. He'll blow a gasket!

It is annoying. We should have held out to win, let alone draw. But, when we're flying high next season, watching all the other teams scrapping it out at the bottom, nothing will be further from our mind! I cannot wait for next season!

Ok guys, don't watch this then. It could kill you. But as none of us was there, maybe the whole atmosphere are lost on us, I dont know <confused>

This is from the QPR corner when City scored their winner, it's beyond me, but I guess you had to be there to understand... <confused>

Found it on a City forum:

Can someone who was there enlighten me please?! Is it undercover City supporters in QPR shirts or what?

They had 35 shots to our 3. It was a miracle we were anywhere near them at 90 minutes, let alone ahead. We went there to park the bus, which most on here didn't want us to do. It was an epic game, ended up with us staying up. It's over, move on, be happy.

Norway, I'm shocked. Have you doctored that video in any way? This surely can't be for real?

That is absolutely unbelievable. There's no way on earth those people are true QPR fans, absolutely no way.

I was amazed at what a few on here said after the game, that they wanted us to lose. It wound be up to the point of exploding but I consoled myself with the chance that Perv and Scotty were just baiting me. But to see it for real like that just deflates me totally to be honest. I thought we had some of the best fans in the Country. Maybe these were the plastics that jumped on board when we came up?

I'm off. I can't take this any more.

Me too. It is always QPR first for me, regardless of the consequences of who wins what. This is paramount to match-fixing. I want Rangers to win regardless. I hate losing, I really hate it. This whole episode is wrong on so many levels, from the result to the fans, and on to the dressing room with QPR players dancing around with Nasri? That is not right. And here we have QPR fans chanting '' Go on City! ??? ' FFs this is wrong wrong wrong. I despair, I really do.

You must be joking SB, Have you seen the evidence? I'm sure that this is the tip of the iceburg. This is right up there with the ' Man on the Moon conspiracies. ' This is bloody shameful.

It's appeasement, that's what it is. It's akin to Chamberlain with Hitler. Incredible!!! I'm seriously peed off.

I for one are not going to games to cheer on the other team, NO MATTER WHAT THE CIRCUMSTANCES ARE. This is absolutely shocking from my point of view, can't get my head around it.
