Hoofed by Birmingham City. Crazy times, they are in the top six.

How many other clubs have sacked their manager with the team in the top 6?....I can't ever record it being a successful move.

Ridiculous decision - Hope Eustace gets another gig as he's got them playing well.

Lets see if it's Wazza or Wazzock at the end of the season

Derby were 7th when Rosie got the push (only on goal difference), they've both been let go for the same reason, the new owner wants his man in despite the current incumbent doing well.

Brum have history of doing this. They sacked Rowett when they were 7th on goal difference and brought in Zola. Zola won 2 out of 24 games and left them just above the relegation zone with 3 games left

Luckily our owner would never sack off an incumbent manager who was doing well and replace them with their own left field choice.

    Oh wait...

We were 18th (after 28 games) when McCann got the elbow.

Good shout. I thought Brum had previous. Much like Watford with Edwards.

They've sacked a manager every year since 2016/17 - definitely on a par with Watford <laugh>

Exactly, Brum having previous has no direct bearing on this. I actually know the new owner from days gone past and I really do hope he doesn't do a Boehly and throw tons of money at it (I don't think he will as he's a pretty smart individual) and also doesn't get too involved, wandering in the dressing room etc. He's mates with Tom Brady due to their kids going to the same school, hence that celebrity connection in the ownership group.

Crazy decision IMO, Rooney hasn't really done anything outstanding, Yes, credit to him sticking with Derby when they were going through tough times, but have a feeling they might regret it. It will add a bit of intrigue when we play them, I guess, which one will come out on top.

Rooney's backroom staff at Birmingham will be Ashley Cole and John O’Shea.
