They have delusions just like Liverpool fans who think they are title contenders, its not easy to see teams overtake you in the pecking order which is why they scream "mercenary" if they lose a player to us because they simply cannot contemplate a player joining a team like QPR for any other reason.

I don't live in Newcastle but have been there many times, I have family in London and I can not see how London is a genuinely nice place to be where as Newcastle in my opinion is the best place in England, lovely cultured Town centre there. Although my favorite place is Germany, where ever you go in Germany it's a great place to be.

I might be biased though as a Newcastle United fan of German descent.

Newcastle has the biggest delusions of grandeur of any of the other London subsidised Northern bubbles like Norwich and Leeds. Who all believe they “deserve” to be in the Premier League and that they have a divine right and hierarchical authority over little upstarts like Rangers.

The post from this Eusebio lad has perfectly put into words what I and a lot of other Rangers fans are thinking.

Sunday 12th May; “I’ll tell you something. I would love it if we beat them”

Delusions of grandeur? up north they call it passion... they eat, drink and breathe their football.

London is north for me. In fact anything is apart from Devon, Cornwall and the IOW.

Newcastle is just another "stag do" town full of sh**e like Nottingham, manchester etc..

Who in thier right mind that wasnt playing for Man Utd or Liverpool would choose to live up North over being paid millions to live in one of the worlds biggest and most developed cities...

Been to Newcastle many times (and Sunderland, Whitley Bay) area and its like Southend. Great nights out at Hooters and the Ship !!#DUMP!
