I didn't think the first 30 minutes were stodgy, but not being a neutral maybe I saw the game differently. As for Humberside.. when someone outside the area sees the press conference and hears a reporter says he's from Radio Humberside they will likely think that is still the county name. Or if they hear about Humberside Police on the news.
