England are currently joint favourites with the bookies along with France at 5/1 to win this tournament! For anyone who does not understand betting, this means if you place £10 win on England to win the tournament at 5/1 you will lose £10!
It’s all set up for England to win <doh>

I know it’s “only” Lichtenstein but would Wales notch 7 against them like Switzerland did last night<whistle>

Looking forward to it with a mixture of excitement and trepidation.

Wales recent "success" has of course raised the expectation bar slightly from the days of being chuffed with a 0-0 away draw to the likes of Albania.

My main concern though is the split in our household that's as wide as the Severn when it comes to International games.....
Having to sit and watch Ingerlund whilst trying hard not to say anything derogatory about them isn't my favourite past time.
In fairness I actually don't mind Gareth Southgate though....

I'm English - born in Bristol and unsurprisingly that explains my loyalties, both to club and country.
However, my dad is a proud Welshman, born and bred in Barry, so, I'm probably in a minority amongst my countrymen, but I do have some Welsh blood and I wish Wales all the best.
I only want Wales to lose if they are actually playing England, or if a Wales win would negatively affect England for some reason.

My son has split his allegiances in a different way; he supports England 100% in the football, but he supports Wales 100% in the Rugby!

It was Albania.

I just can’t see the point of friendlies unless you play your best X1.

Watching that was painful and IMO pointless.
Only saw the 2nd half. Realise who we were playing.
Still thought they played the ball about quite well.
Some of it is about getting minutes in the legs, some of it is about combinations, some of it is about exposing youngsters to the environment and some of it is about a game plan.
Would probably have been less beneficial to put out the strongest team and score half a dozen.
Friendlies have their place in my opinion.

Real stuff starts on Saturday against the Swiss.
