We know if Arsenal get top 4 we are in the Europa League whether we win or lose. I can't find an answer about what happens if Arsenal finish 5th though. I assume that as the FA Cup winner enters at a later stage than the 5th place team that if Arsenal win the cup and finish 5th they will take the FA Cup Europa spot and another spot will be given to the premier league placings? Does anybody know if this is correct? I put a bet on us to qualify for Europe at the start of the season...
Phil Buckingham tweeted that the FA confirmed to him that if we're runners up and arsenal finish outside top 4 the other europa league spot goes to the team that finishes 7th. We best win the final just to make sure

Yes you are right, but this has been explained on here countless times over the last few weeks, I'm surprised anyone doesn't know.
Not keen on the idea of Europe myself, Look what its done to Swansea after a really strong season before in the league. I also think our away following around Europe would be embarrassing.
I'd love to see us play in Europe, whatever the consequences, but I'm rather past caring now, whatever happens, happens.
I don't get this attitude, loads of people say the same about the cup stating 'it's only the cup' before getting to the quarters. When in our life will we get another chance to be in europe. Yes it would be difficult next season but I imagine swansea will stay up and with some decent players in before next season I would take a campaign europe alongside just surviving in 16th or something like that
Unless we was taking over 4,000 fans to away games in Europe , we would be make to look a very small club, agree it would be embarrassing
I'd rather qualify for Europe as a winner, I know most teams don't these days but that just devalues it anyway.
Well I certainly will go if we do qualify, I guess P&O will be hoping we do also, as the ferries to Holland & Belgium will be handy to get over there.
Or to France, Lille etc and Germany only 1 hour through Holland to the likes of Gladbach or Leverkusen
There may be a lot of Arse nal fans who would be quietly happy (probably after the event more than before) if we help put them out of the top 4 and win the cup. It would cause a shake up at their club which is long overdue. It would certainly be good for football generally if we beat them and beat them we will.
