The draw is on Friday and the five possible teams we can get are:

    FC Zurich
    Odense
    Twente
    Udinese
    Rubin Kazan

Would prefer any of the first three, the other two would be trickier though not impossible.

How does the qualifying work again? Do we only play one of those sides over two legs; home and away, etc?

Yeah, we get drawn against one of those five, two legged tie, away goals, the usual stuff really. Win and we're in the group stages.

The draw is on Friday and the five possible teams we can get are:

FC Zurich _ Don't know much about them, but should not be too difficult.

Odense - Again, don't know too much about them. Should not be too difficult.

Twente - Decent side, but not much better than the McLaren led Twente side we beat a couple of seasons back, although more experienced in Europe now.

Udinese - Lost a couple of their star players. We have a decent record in Italy. Serie A starts 2 weeks after the PL, so question marks over their preperations.

Rubin Kazan - The ones to avoid, imo. Shown against barca in recent seasons they are tactical goo. The Russian season is well under way, so will be more up to speed than us. The weather won't be a problem unlike when teams have to go to Russia in winter, but the long distance journey in the first week of the PL season is to be avoided.

Rubin would be the worst draw, imo, followed by Twente, Udinese and then the other 2.

I'd rather twente. Closer robin will be on home soil and bergkamp to watch :) and inspire a great win

Don't want Rubin or Udinese, the others I am fine with.
