First of all, I'm not here to criticise your club or current squad. I personally feel that Newcastle have what it takes to fight in the Europa League (if they are to make it next season). Something which other English teams are lacking. With that being said, we all know it wasn't a great performance today, but certainly shows that Mike Ashley surely needs to invest in the club as soon as possible. The vast majority of Toon fans would agree that a couple of signings would result in great results.

Furthermore, Pardew must now search the market for an effective striker. Something which will be very hard seeing as the prices for players have risen over the past few years. Also, it has come to my attention Simpson isn't the best right-back you could have in your squad. But, hopefully Pardew will realise he needs to play Taylor at right-back. We all know he's able to deliver incredible crosses.

    <ok> Anything else?

You've just stated the obvious IMO. Simpson's been pretty solid by the way(if you've seen him for the majority of the season) & could do a job IMO for most PL clubs, he's really underrated & has been one of are more consistent performers.
Saylor was decent enough as a RB previous to our relegation(06',07',08',09') but when we played him there against Everton THIS season, Arteta give him a run-around(a proper one) & he just didn't look comfortable in that position.

agree with everything you've said. although pre-season is where they can really improve Simpsons game he's decent enough just needs to improve if we want to go forward as a club. as well as a few signings.

    This.

But I assumed he meant Raylor, as he referred to his 'incredible crosses'.

    Anyway.

We need a couple of strikers, a better CB to partner Colo and maybe a couple of squad players. Then we can see how things go. <ok>

Agree'd, he has been good this season but still drops the odd clanger here and there, he isnt that comfortable on the ball either. Saying that he can be a steady player when he is up for it.

In all honesty, that would be something I'd want to know.
