Teams in the Champions League play on Sundays to recuperate in between, so how come the FA don't let Europa League teams to play on the Monday with Sunday game to follow?

Not sure against the likes Man City, it might make a difference over the course of a season as for every tough opponent there are 3 or 4 that can be beaten. But ECL teams get 4 days but Europa League teams get just three. It seems a little unfair and I didn't really notice it until our team was directly affected.

Its not to do with the games after the CL/EL, its the games inbetween, they give a minimum of 3 days usually, so those who play the Tuesday Champions league tend not to play the Sunday before, allowing at least 3 days rest, Wednesday kick offs can play on the Sunday, so they can have eitehr 3 or 4 days off, where as us on Thursdays can play Sunday and Monday, allowing us 3/4 or 5 days after the last Prem game.

Its not just about after the cup game
