    Dear ladies and gentlemen,

    The draw for the group stage of the Europa league 2012-2013 season starts at 12:00PM GMT
    The pots:

    Pot 1: PSV, FC Twente, Atletico Madrid, Internazionale, Olympique Lyon, Liverpool, Olympique Marseille, Sporting Portugal, Tottenham Hotspur, Bayer Leverkusen, Bordeaux, VfB Stuttgart.

    Pot 2: FC Basel, FC Metalist Kharkov, Panathinaikos, Athletic de Bilbao, FC Copenhagen, Fenerbahçe SK, Rubin Kazan, Napoli, Udinese, Club Brugge, Hapoel Tel-Aviv FC, Hannover 96

    Pot 3: Lazio Roma, Steaua Bucharest, Sparta Prague, Rosenborg BK, Newcastle United, BSC Young Boys, Levante, RC Genk, Borussia Mönchengladbach, FK Partizan, FC Viktoria Pilsen, FC Dnjepr Dnjepropetrovsk

    Pot 4: Helsingborgs, CS Marítimo, Rapid Wien, Académica de Coimbra, Anzhi, NK Maribor, AIK, AEL Limassol FC, Hapoel Kiryat Shmona FC, Molde FK, Videoton FC, Neftçi PFK

    Some top teams in pot 2 and 3 that we could avoid, hopefully we can avoid Napoli and Udinese, and Lazio, Roma and Monchengladbach in Pot 3. Would be nice to reunite with BSC Young Boys, good memories.

    Athletico Bilbao too! <yikes>

    As Perryman says, long distance away games are best avoided. I'd like us to avoid Young Boys' plastic pitch again too.

    Arry played a second string team in the UEFA but I'm not sure that AVB can afford to being so new. If he puts out the top players then I'm happy to meet anybody.

    With all respect to them, the only teams I'd like to meet in pot 2 would be Metalist or Tel-Aviv. Wouldn't touch Sparta, Mönchengladbach or Lazio with a barge pole preferably. Certainly would like to avoid Anzhi (Eto'o etc. I believe.)

    Actually I wouldn't mind a name team in our group to add some spice to it, agree with PL and others what I want us to avoid are the far flung teams.

    FC Copenhagen
    Viktoria Pilsen
    Académica de Coimbra

    Short away trips, plus Copenhagen are a decent team - if we're going to rest (or bed in) players this allows us to do so.
