I think he crossed the blazers and like clough back in the day, will never ever be approached.

The issue for me is if you look now, what acceptable brexiteer english man will be available next?

Dyche?
Potter?
Lampard?
Bruce?
Parker?
Smith?
Gerrard?
Boothroyd (current u21 coach)

Obviously allardyce is out.

Who would really be the one to take on these young players?

Lampard proved he can't organise a defence (give him a yet) Tuchel took his squad and massively improved them.
Smith has done well with villa, can organise a defence, seems tactically ok.
Potter is ok, not much experience with top players but has done ok.
Gerrard? only in scotland, can't judge it.

Dyche, bruce? christ!
Eddie Howe, Chris Wilder...

Smith, Lampard and Gerrard are probably the best of that list, which isn't saying much and is a bit damning.

Pulis isn't English...

Rafa will be too busy playing for Portugal and managing Everton.

oh yeah, pulis is an inveterate sheepshagger!

Between playing tennis in the frehcn open, managing everton and playing golf I don't see when he would be available to **** up the england job.

Not watching the game but just read another penalty saved, Morata for Spain.

It's incredible. I think only one has been scored.

Notice that the Spanish players (who were on the bench at the end) are wearing face masks to shake hands with the Slovaks.

Reaction to the rules enforced on England perhaps?

Hungary 1-0.

if France win, Hungary finish 2nd and play England <laugh>
