Wales pot is looking fairly good for us. Bosnia, Cyprus and Andorra so far.

The top 2 in each group qualify and the 3rd placed teams go into a playoff. So if we can get 3rd we're in with a shout.

Feeling pretty good about the draw. I think we will have a fantastic chance if we can field our strongest team for the key games <ok>

Israel as well now. Surely we can get at least 3rd in this group ?

...but still - finishing 3rd gets you into the playoff. I'd say that's achievable in that group surely. Are Bosnia really that good to be in pot 1 ?

3rd gets you a playoff? Well, this new expanded euro's really has throw me off...not a bad group for Wales then.

Gibraltar against Germany could be entertaining.

This could have been a lot worse. If we can get
    Bale
    Ramsay
    Allen
    Ledley
    Collins
    Neil
    Ben
    Ash
    Rhodri Williams
and possibly Jazz involved in all games, we should have a great chance of qualifying <cheers>

I would love to see wales playing both Neil and Ben on either side, with Ash in the middle with collins. (although dont like collins lol)

Agree, playing Neil at LB and Ben LW would free up Bale to play up front just in front of Allen and Ramsay. Could be a very effective attacking line.

I was thinking more along the lines of Taylor to play instead of Gunter at RB, not his biggest fan at all.

But the bonus to that too would be a backline 3 of the same club, which would only serve to solidify our defence surely.

I was thinking along the lines of Jazz making the step up at RB, would still gives three of the four in the back :D

That could work, but think Taylor has more claim to displace Gunter than Jazz, as think if we were to play the Taylor/Davies left wing, that Gunter would get the shout ahead of Jazz.

Also don't want Ledley involved, cannot stand the bloke and don't want to see him in a welsh shirt, utter ****e.

You'll finish 2nd in that group is my guess. Good news for the Welsh <ok>

The England group is a joke!!

Why not Ben as CB and all four Jacks in defence?

TBF Collins gained a bit of respect after burying the hatchet and returning to play for Wales when they were decimated.

Though it was a great group till Belgium popped out. Typical. Still not bad.

    My Wales team would be;

    ------------ Hennessey ---------------
    ---------- Collins --- Ash -------------
    Taylor ----------------------- B. Davies
    ------------------ Allen ---------------
    ------------- Ramsey -----------------
    Robson-Kanu -- J. Williams -----Bale--
    ------------------ Vokes --------------

Subs; Myhill, Ricketts, Jazz, Collison, Vaughan, Gwion Edwards, Simon Church

Wouldn't mind Coleman taking a look at some more youngsters also, especially that kid at Man City who used to be with us....forget his name.

!st or 2nd is well within our grasp if Coleman and the welsh FA don't take no for an answer when they call up their players...this has been our major problem for years with clubs saying their player is not fit and injured only for them to play their next club game...We need to get our act together off the field before we have any chance on it...
