Draw being made on Sky Sports News at the moment, once they get the boring bits out the way. England in pot 1. Not sure how but Belgium, ranked 11th in World, are in pot 2 so we could be grouped with them. Could in theory get Republic of Ireland, Scotland or Wales, Northern Ireland and Gibraltar!
should be like the fa cup, could be drawn in any group to play against anyone. seeding is for one purpose only, to make better ties in later stages and make money! like the cl its bollocks in my opinion, why cant we have the good old drawn out the hat to play anyone?

Top 2 automatically go through. Best 3rd pace team go through. Then the remaining 8 go into a qualifier with the 4 winners going through. Slovenia in our group.. we beat them 1-0 in the WC 4 years ago
Switzerland the last team think I could manage England out of that group. Republic of Ireland and Scotland's group it's a bit of a pig of a group.
How about Wales! They could qualify from this! Group B: Bosnia-Herzegovina, Andorra, Cyprus, WALES, Israel, Belgium Epic Allen!
Well, that group is full of excitement Is it top one or two that qualify? Or is top plus so many runners up etc?
That's the only good thing about it being expanded to 24 teams is that those 3rd seeded teams have a much better chance of getting through and the 4th seeds can try and aim for 3rd place and a play off game. I would like to maybe see less seedings though, so have seed 1 with 16 teams in it so you could end up with Spain/Germany in one group. That way you still have 2 favourites to fill the top 2 places but you could get 2 poorer teams which would give the next seeded teams much more of a chance. Also could get some tasty games rather than most of the dull ones that happen in qualifying at the moment.
Why have nine qualifying groups though? Why not make it eight so the top three from each qualify? So what if there are a different number of teams in groups.
I'd like to see seeding ****ed off completely. How great would it be to see us drawn with Brazil, Argentina and Spain? Sure, we'd get the first flight back but we're not going to win anyway so lets see us against some good sides. Same for CL & EL, so what if lesser teams get through. that's a good thing!
