In the last 3 tournaments, the golden boot has been won with 3 or 4 goals.
There are some cracking bets in this market, most noteably Dimitri Payet @ 66/1.

Will definitely get several chances being the free kick specialist and has scored in his last 2 games for France.

Also, Corals have enhanced the price of England, France, Germany and Spain winning their opening games from 11/2 to 11/1 until Saturday lunchtime <ok>

Nice thread TC-One bet I'm very tempted with is Germany or Spain to make the final 7/4.I don't think the French team is good enough to win it.Not orignial but Thomas Muller appeals as top scorer 8/1. He has a terrific record in the big tournaments and always seems to be in the right place to poach a few goals.ps I'll be running a Euro competition during the week-will make the more mundane games a little more interesting!

The Germans will fall on their arses this tournament - they are not the same team which won the World Cup 2 years ago. France with home advantage would be my play. Outsiders Sweden with Zlatan the genius.

I took 33s on MORATA to be top scorer with ladbrokes. Will start for spain who will go far and he is likely to get 4+ goals. Really like him as a player.

Bet365 have the in play bet offer on for England v Russia

England take on Russia at Euro 2016 on Saturday 11th June – and we’ve got a fantastic In-Play bet offer to add to the excitement.

Place a pre-match bet on the England v Russia game and we’ll give you a risk free In-Play bet to the same stake on the big match.

To qualify for your risk free In-Play bet, simply place a bet before kick-off then, once the game starts, place another bet on any In-Play market. If your FIRST In-Play bet loses we will refund this stake, up to the same value as your largest pre-match bet (max refund £50*).

Where more than one In-Play selection is placed on the same bet slip, the risk free bet will be deemed to be the one which is first on the bet slip. All bets must be paid for and placed in the usual way and any bets that are fully or partly Cashed Out are excluded from this offer.

As always, there'll be plenty to choose from with over 70 In-Play markets available throughout the game including Next Goal, Match Goals, Match Corners, Half-Time Result, Full-Time Result and much more.

With an extensive range of pre-match and In-Play markets and a fantastic In-Play bet offer, you can get great value on your Soccer betting at bet365.

I have only had about 3 football bets in my life and usually a strictly horse racing man, due to my account being in good health I placed a bet on the group winners.

France, England, Germany, Spain, Belgium and Portugal to top their group.

The first 4 should the last two possibly not.

I have placed an accumulator and 5 folds.

My tip for the win would be Belgium or France.

Romania had the best defence in qualifying, different opposition altogether tonight but they could prove hard for the French to break down. Weight of a nation bearing down on the French although that hasn't stopped them delivering the goods in the past.

Quite a few fancying Belgium again I see - can't have it myself. They have a few decent individuals but that's about it, and I am not totally convinced about the managerial skills of Marc Wilmots.

    I like Turkey and Austria.

Cant believe Brandt didnt get in the Germany squad, hes finally starting to deliver on the potential and was a key player in securing Champions League for Leverkusen in the second half of the season, he scored the same amount of goals as Schurrle with 280 minutes less playing time and half as many attempts. Bellarabi who was second in assists in the Bundesliga last season is another who should have been in.

Gotze has barely kicked a ball all season and hes in, Leroy Sane not in the same class as Brandt is in, Draxler hasnt exactly had a great season either, Kimmich is just an unnecessary addition, he done well in the main when filling in at centre back for Bayern but lets not forget he cost them major goals in the Champions League against Juve and its not that difficult to keep possession as a Bayern centre back. Hes surely not going to play ahead of Hummels, Boateng, Howedes or Tah. Then you have the older guys like Schweinsteiger, Podolski and Mario Gomez who havent looked near their best this season. I do like the inclusion of Wiegl but really think there should have been a space for Brandt.

Belgium v Portugal final at 90/1
England v Portugal final at 80/1
Ronaldo to finish to gs and Portugal to win 90/1
France to win and Martial to finish top GS 66/1
    Martial top GS 33/1

They are my shots in the dark.
