Euro 2012 - Guess the Score -League table after first round of fixtures

England 1 France 1 -Good result and performance against very good French team. though being critical we did allow them too much possession outside the 18 yard line- reminiscent of Chelsea v Barcelona.
Ukraine 2 Sweden 1 - always good to see the home nation do well- creates a great atmosphere.

The 6 pointers on the final day of round 1 matches were - wiz, angelic, banksy, and National N1

Format is fine as far as I can see. I like simplicity.. some bonus points would be good later as less games are played to keep us all in it I suppose.

Results from Tuesday June 12th--

Czech Rep 2 Greece 1, Congrats to Redone, algenon, Jambo, YeOldBlueGas, redmaid, BCFCRed and Brookksyboy- who all predicted 2-1 to CZechs.

Poland 1 Russia 1 -probably one of the most entertaining games so far. A draw politically was the best result considering all the trouble between the so called fans before the match. Congrats to smhbcfc, manxrobin, and BRIGHTREDRICKSTER who broke his duck in spectacular fashion by gaining 7 points.

Half the posters who entered today got one of the scores correct. Most successful day so far. The movers and shakers are coming to the fore.

Denmark 2 Portugal 3 -great advert for football- enthralling and exciting. But no one got 6 points on this one.

Holland 1 Germany 2 -Germany so disciplined, so organised, but they play their football with a high degree of technical skill. Put together the tactical ability of Chelsea with the technical ability and flair of Barcelona- and you have the current German side. Netherlands should go back to being Holland-Netherlands sounds like Michael Jackson's theme park..

However Ashton Matt, redmaid, premiershiporbust, and angelicnumber16 all got 6 points for predicting 2-1 to Germany .
