Ozil has been great this competition. Gerrard was great but Ozil was better. Ozil has been the underrated player in this tournament, he was superb for Germany. he deserves to be in the team of euro 2012
Gerrard was great? Maybe to a poor players standards yes, to his own standards the was he ****. Ozil was 20million times better. Garth Crooks a moron anyway tbh.
I would take out Gerrard (how the hell has he even made it into that team?) for Ozil, Johnson for Debuchy (he was much more effective for the French) or Lahm, and I would maybe swap Alba, who was very good throughout the tournament, for Coentrao who was excellent. I would also be tempted to take out Gomez for Ronaldo or Nani, possibly Nani as he constantly looked a threat.
