Had to take the dogs out early this morning for the usual pee and a poop - them not me.....
Literally could hardly stand up in the gusts - very dangerous! I wouldn't have gone out except for their needs. Batten down the hatches and stay safe.
Incidentally my late mother's name was Eunice. Too wrapped up in my work at the time 15 years ago - you don't know what you've got till it's gone.

It's quite remarkable what can trigger memories.
Tomorrow's Porthcawl Parkrun cancelled already. Off to Maesteg then if still on. Bloody steep hill 4 times.

Living 50 then 170 miles away we didnt see them as often as we'd have liked but saw them as often as we could.

When I played for my school, my dad always made me eat a bowl of baked beans an hour before the game. He told me that you never know who's going to win the toss and that it's best to play with the wind in the first half.
