Would be a good signing..........IF.............he is not the only striker brought in? Could actually be a fantastic signing as a bedding in period for a striker who has never played in the Prem? The fact he is motivated to get one over Moaninho is just an added bonus!

I'd rather Ba if they're getting rid. Younger and better right now. Eto'o will fade further, Ba has a couple of years left before that he begins to fade.

He's not a long term option, but I'd take him if we don't get the striker we want this summer.

On that note, I sincerely hope we do buy a top quality striker, but I don't want us panic buying any old Joe because we feel we HAVE to sign somebody. If the right man for the long term isn't available this summer, then I'd be up for signing Eto'o or Torres.

He is wasted at Chelsea. He would be appreciated at Arsenal. I agree not a long term option but a very good plan B if we need him. Still think a world class striker is a priority... is Benzema that striker?

I'd like to see us bring in mandzukic, benzema, cavani or a similar top striker. But etoo as a backup option to fight it out with giroud would be ok, provided his wage demands are low. He isn't worth paying lots of wages for.

I'm sure it's just playing for a ****y club like Chelsea that makes him ****. He should have joined Arsenal when he left Atletico as El Nino, it was reportedly always his desire to play for us. I reckon he'd be like a Phoenix from the flames if we signed him up. Either that or he'd be ****. I'm confident that it would be one or the other

Sadly I think Torres is shot to pieces. I can't see anyone getting anywhere near the levels he did with Liverpool. He was notorious for his pace and especially his burst of pace and that brought him many of his goals, that and his confidence being completely shattered and I can't see him doing the business.

I would take him as a backup sub striker, after the main striker we get this summer. Eto'o will give us options should our primary strike force fails.

Well Torres is still one of the most marketable players in the world. Financially he'd pay for himself and he'd be a decent backup. Not the answer to our problems though lol
