I know the subject has been done to death but I just thought I would show you this page if you haven't already seen it.

apart from the obvious mistake at the top, well done BBC, his record seems to be a bit outstanding, which could very well explain the large transfer fee. 27 goals in 26 games is not a bad career total for a player just turned 24. 24 of those goals coming in 21 appearances in the league with 3 coming in 5 appearances in European competition, questions have to be raised in my opinion. Have we been the victim of scam tactics by an agent and bought a dud? With stats like that it would easily be tempting but in this day and age it seems unlikely a club would make a deal without doing all of the required homework... wouldn't it?

Answers on a postcard to the usual address hey lads

He seems to score bag fulls in the development team, perhaps MM is building him up for the future. I did hear that he is very homesick, can understand that of a young 19 year old in a country where he cant speak any of the 2 lingos widely spoken.

According to the profile he was 24 on Boxing Day so not such a youngster. However I believe his English is not so good so can understand there are issues in fitting in. A lot would depend on how willing he is to learn the language and relate to what goes on in the dressing room.

If he has trouble with that then he would get homesick. However, for a footballer it is all about playing and being part of the team. I hope he gets a run out at Macclesfield, does well and pushes for an opportunity with the "A Team".

One for the future. Apparently we are one of a number of clubs monitoring the progress of 19 year old Pilgrim Luke Young at Home Park. Maybe the attacking midfielder will be persuaded to CCS by mate Joe Mason?

Oops! Should be on the transfer thread. <ok>

I remember MM saying he'd been tracking Eti for some time and had tried to buy him when he was Watford manager. He may yet be a dud, but it won't be for the lack of intel.
