    Does anyone have any insight?

Eg of 18,000 passholders do we think maybe 16k would choose to go to the final, or more?

How many tickets are reserved for corporates and guests? 4k?

Would that leave 5k for Phase 3?

And based on past experience, how many people will bother to queue all night on May 1st? Do you think a 6am arrival would secure tickets?

I realise a lot of these are 'how long is a piece of string' type questions. Just wondered if anyone had any inside knowledge.

One thing i don't get. If they're prioritising passholders and those who went to the semi, what about those that went with the passholders 2nd ticket? Where are they in the pecking order?

Phase 3 - you just need your stub and details of who got you the ticket.

Do you mean the final phase of general sale or only 1,000 for phase 3 -- if the latter then a tent might well be needed!

A lot of them will have been wives, girlfriends or mates there for a day out and possibly attending their first game so they should be well down any pecking order.

As someone who falls into that description, I wholeheartedly agree. My missus has already said as much as she'd wanna go, she realises its limited tickets and it would be a shame, in her words, for real fans to miss out on such a massive and unique day.

YAY! Saves me a fortune and a load of grief. Also saves me having to pretend to get her a ticket, failing, then lying to her, which would never end well.

She might insist on attending the charity shield though. Will cross that bridge when we get to it :p

Theres a really simple thing to do for all those constantly squealing about tickets. I exclude ex pats in this. But if you live in this country and you are hoping/whining/expecting cos you were there 5/10/20 years ago. Buy a ****ing season pass!! Its that simple.
This isnt going to be a one off.

I'm an ex-pat, been to more lower league games over the years than PL ones, too late in the day but it would be a nice gesture to reserve a number of tickets for overseas Tigers and put them on sale on the OWS. Hell, we'd be willing to pay 100 quid too.

I don't see any whining in this thread. What you say is of course true, but various people will have various reasons for not getting a pass. Living in London, I wouldn't be able to get to anything but Saturday games and would rather spend my money on going to what away games I can within reasonable travel distance.

I don't have any argument with the way the final tickets are being distributed.

The original post was simply seeking information (which would still be gratefully accepted if anyone knows the answers).

I'd be willing to pay a lot more than that! My flight alone will cost more than a season ticket and with hotel I bet I will spend more getting to one game then 1,000's will have going to all home games!

In the 60s and early 70s I was a passholder and went to most of the away games as well. I then moved to London and only got to a few matches. In the 80s I started going regularly again - even had a season ticket - but going all over the country on most saturdays and playing football on a sunday became too much. Now I'm self employed spending a day or two a week travelling to football isn't realistic for me but I get to see what I can.
I dont think anybody thinks that season card holders shouldnt be first in the queue.
If somebody comes all the way from Australia or USA to see the final I'd say they deserve a ticket.

Yes agreed but how do you go about putting these things in place?

Personally I'd be getting an overnight bus there and back from Lyon if I found a ticket and I'd pay up to 300 euros

It's once in a lifetime but I'd never put myself in front of a season ticket holder.

I honestly dont think any will make general sale, they will all go in phase 2 then all the staff will be looked after, players and familes , ill be gobsmacked if an make general sale to the bandwagoners
