Im hearing Essien has injured his cruciate ligament in his knee. Im hearing its looking bad, potentially out for a long time.
Its not been confirmed yet but im sure the news will break soon.

    Get well soon Bison

Absolutely gutted. He may never come back from this one. Time to dip into the transfer market if it's serious.

I love the guy, but I think he is now not longer of value to the team. lets not forget his attempts to bring peace to Ghana, yet as a Chelsea player I fear he is now Di Matteo'd . This is his 3rd cruciate ligament injury in this knee. 10 years ago one such injury was the end of a career one.

Yep, and there is no denying the impact he had prior to this occurring, the man was a beast, but unfortunately time to think of moving him on when he get's over it.

Agreed - what a waste of incredible talent 'coz of injuries. Any update on whether his is season ending or less severe injury?
