http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-northern-ireland-18594713 A mythical goddess is their queen!?! Who's their king? The Easter Bunny, Santa, Zeus, Darth Vader. Futile gesture by republicans but I'm not so sure Queenie will be spending much of her time in West Belfast.
Eriu was part of a invading force, I blame the schools, do they not get ironic undertones from this. They could of done some research before hand, like wikipedia, but then I guess they cant spell or read!
If they could spell or read, I'm sure they'd use a question mark at the end of a question and the apostrophe wouldn't be missing out of "can't". Spastic.
I only just realised that you used the word "of" instead of "have" as well. I think that settles it - illiterate ****wit would be way too kind.
There was also the use of 'a' rather than 'an' before invading as well as that a semi colon would have fit better than a comma after 'force'.
This whole thread is ironic! A sign celebarting a Mediterranean Queen whos invading force kicke the Irish asses is used to make a gesture to a Queen who thought it would be a good idea to bail out the said Republic that hates her.
Your sentence is long-winded though. You should have used a full stop after "invading" and started a new sentence after that.
I bet it was a couple if 14 year olds who done it More like some like the over 50 branch of the Green Brigade Enniskillen Division
Eriu didn't exist. Just like Britannia didn't exist. ..and when it comes to irony lectures, it's pretty hard to take one from someone who questions a mythical figure's journey from one country to another while celebrating the current house of Saxe-Coburg-Gotha. Add into that the inference that the Queen bailed out another country (I believe it was her government unless we're in the 15th century) and, all in all, it's brick-on-the-accelerator time down ***** Hill heading straight for the Wall of ******ation.
