Ok, so after hearing a load of rumours that he's most likely to be on his way to Tyneside, I checked with a mate of mine who lives in Holland and supports Feyenoord.

Asked him what he was like, if he was worth getting and his reply was: "No, nothing special about him. Waste of money i think."

On top of this, in the gossip column on bbc he said he thinks PSV will reject any offer we make for him.

More **** news I'm afraid. Would you make do with Raylor again at left-back vs Sunderland next week?

Feyenoord hate PSV so his opinion is the same as mine about any Sunderland player.

    Valid point.

I'd take the opinion of the Dutch national manager over a rival supporter.

Prefer Raylor at LB than Perch but will be happy when we get a decent LB in place.

Feyenoord hate Ajax like we hate Sunderland. They dislike PSV on a par with how we dislike most other premier league teams e.g Liverpool and I'd still admit if a rival player was decent if he was.

For example, Sessegnon looks like a tidy player.

I think you'll come to see Sessegnon has no final product, at all. It's the reason PSG fans are happy to see the back of him, all footwork and tricks, no finish. I hope he doesn't change that now that he's in Sunderland, a few of yesterday's miss-hit strikes haven't changed my opinion at least.

To be fair if the lad has 10 caps for Holland and is 22 he must be good enough for us presently. I know many fans didn't want Obertan but I said he was easily good enough for where we are now. What I'm saying is now is not the time to be too choosy.

To be honest, I'd still have him as he offers more strength in depth and is a more natural option than anyone we have. BUT I'm not 100% sure we'll even get him.

I agree Ashley will now think R.Taylor can be the best left back in the league and save 6 million quid.

He has just turned 23 and has 10 full caps for Holland who are an awesome side. Sorry but this is a lot more important to me than what your mate reckons!

I've seen Pieters play about 4 or 5 times and he has been decent every time I saw him. Also If your first choice LB for one of the best national teams in the world you have to be pretty decent.

On the other hand, Enrique would've been this age in our relegation season or even the season before, and while he showed a little potential, he wasn't setting the league alight. 3 years on, look at him.
