    Apparently we are interested in Pieters, our source non other than Tim Krul!

    Things are slowly starting to look up for us. Pardew has said he's looking for another striker and if we keep Barton i can see us doing well this season.

    I can see us starting most games like this with Obertan & Marveaux coming on to use their pace down the wings against teams in last 25 Mins. With Ba coming on as well using his strength against defences in the last 20 mins could cause real problems.

    That looks pretty good, although I'd have Best on the bench rather than Abeid/Vuckic, as we won't need a sub CM as Barton is on the pitch, but we may need 2 strikers on the bench.
