    Hope to see him recover quickly no one deserves it and at 31 he has a long life left ahead so hopefully it'll be sorted quickly and hassle free

    Bad bad news. The good news it that it is benign, and they are hoping to have him back in training in 6 weeks <yikes> Crazy how we could see him pulling on a Barca shirt so soon!

    Bad times. Pretty impossible to not know someone affected by cancer these days. Just seems strange that footballers/celebrities get diagnosed, sounds stupid but you never think of them as being regular people somehow!

    Hope he gets well soon.
    The good news is that if it is benign, they could chop up to 90% of his liver off (if that's how much was infected) and the other 10% would grow back!
    (Although they generally only take off up to 60%)
