Having just received my pass I was angered to see further eradication of our clubs and City's name even the picture of the players on it is taken from their backs in deliberation of not displaying then old badge with Hull City on it. With the new badge, the club shop and even the scoreboard without our name I feel totally insulted. The only reason I go to the KC is to support my City as I have for 37 Years remove that identity and who are we supporting just a football team who plays from our city no connection other then that. The blatant self egotistical Allam murder of our identity is being committed right under our noses and apart from the chant we say no Allam which is being laughed at as he just goes ahead with total disrespect to the feeling of the real supporters. I start this thread in sadness and anger where has the spirit gone from the days we all stood proud to save our club from extinction yet we seem content to just let it happen. Your opinions would be most interesting this is more then just a name its our City having a football club that 100% represents our home HULL CITY without this my season is already loosing passion and I an seriously considering selling my pass definitely will not support a team that doesn't represent my home city. To be fair if this whole Hull Tigers debacle hadn't happened and the pass looked exactly the same you wouldn't have thought anything about it. Also it kind of makes sense not to show the old badge when you have just rebranded the club with a new logo. It sends out a confusing message and a lack of continuity.
I'm sure 99% of City fans agree with your sentiments and only the perverse ignorant attention-seeking few would disagree. The FA have blocked the ludicrous and shameful name-change abortion. I put in another post that the current owner is not the type to be bullied and sets a lot of store in his public image, ergo he ain't gonna publicly say he was wrong. Privately he may be thinking that it's not worth the antagonism and grief, especially if he can make £5m on Shane Long when a name change might bring in not even half that. This is a man given to making statements which then turn out to be just bluster, having his photo taken at Melton looking at building plans for the new stadium there etc. This despite priding himself on being a man of his word. Could it be that he is going soft on the name change when he sees the club is thriving as Hull City and the shekels are rolling in as at present? One thing's for sure we need to keep the pressure up at nineteen minutes four seconds every game until this ludicrous idea is quashed for ever.
We have never had such a confused identity as we have at present, as the club refers to itself by a variety of names. Textbook marketing expertise just when the name Hull City has gone global.

Well said OP. I think that is how a lot of people are feeling right now. This rubbish is spoiling the greatest period in our history. Fantastic time to be a City fan.... except for this nonsense.
We all know what is going on and to be honest I do not understand the need for this on another thread. If you don't like it send the ****ing thing back. Start of another season in the PL, folks queing overnight for Europa League tickets. The club is starting to build a proper relationship with the supporters. It has started to put back the use of Hull City around the club. It is listening once more. There has to be a period of adjustment, a time when things are not quite right. The first day of the new season is no time for moaning about the lack of a name on the season card. Assem Allam got it wrong and will keep getting it wrong, but on just about every other level he has got it right.
If you are so against the Allams why not raid your piggy banks and collect up your pennies, get £100 million pounds and buy the club then you can run it into the ground. If not you are not forced to come to games.

Because it is the club I support. It will always be Hull City AFC to me regardless of what the Allams change, but at the same time I appreciate what they have done and I'm not a ****ing fool that spends more time moaning about a ****ing badge or name than supporting the team!
The FA said NO. We are Still Hull City afc ( though I have all ways called us Hull City ) The name still exists . The FA won't change our name . (Imo) Looking forward to the season starting. There's no NEGATIVES in my life .
