So over the past 10 weeks or so Harry, his coaching staff and even TF have taken some (rightly deserved) stick about everything from formations to tactics to....well everything. So he's the chance for a bit of eveness. If you/we are going to criticise him ( and the team) for past performances, then we also have to praise him and the team for good performances. in my view he "mainly" got the team correct and they put a decent performance in. So from me, Well done to harry and the team and lets hope for more of the same. The score was irrelivant but the performance is what we and you paying supporters deserved. Big well done for me....lets see how many of his detractors are willing to put thier hands up... ? I know a broken clock is right twice a day but come on....
I think we saw enough yesterday (in my case heard) to cut Harry and the team some slack. What we need to see now is that level of performance repeated against Villa. We really need another win under our belt. A defeat by Villa and I think Harry's goose is cooked.
Did you not read the rest of the posts on the forum - starting from right after the game? As far as I can see it's been pretty unanimous praise all round, albeit tinged with a degree of disappointment that we didn't get what we deserved. Roll on Villa.
It was a fantastic turn around. It's noticeable that when Arry is lively on the sidelines then the team seems to be livelier too. He did everything right (except Hoilett on instead of Phillips IMO). The performance was good and the commitment was fantastic. I couldn't expect that every week but visible effort should be there at least 8 out of 10 games. If we could do that, then I think we could survive. I think he's earnt an extra hair to hold the Sword of Damocles at bay....
Without doubt a big improvement but only IMO back to what the bare basics should be playing in this league Sorry he has got stick because he bloody needs it Anyone foolish enough to think we ares orated yet is blind IMO Take stock of exactly what has happened at our club and how much has been spent This is what Harold should be doing I will only ever give this idiot praise when he openly says to the world I got so much wrong and I am to blame This week again all about him and feeding his dogs and how he did this and that at Spurs Not only that he then rants on about a player in public Lads get real here we lost again …. Harold gets us 9 points from our next 3 games then time for some cock sucking but this is all about excuses currently and its never his fault I consider myself to be fair and have given him credit without doubt for getting us to play better football in the past but he has lost the lot with me at the moment. and that from a poster who says No to changing him … I want him to change… I what him to become humble and say it's my fault and promise to get it right. I wanted a reaction 8 games ago not a slightly better performance than what is naturally expected at a football club
Is that a "well done Harry" then DT? I dont disagree with much of that, but if we are gonna slag him off, then we also have to praise him? No hypocrites here
It's a well done Harold but with a big dose of Shut the **** up and do your job … I doubt anyone on here would say Yun is unfit he got it wrong and remember these players are coming straight into the team Play Yun Play Henry Play Taarabt Sort out the defence quickly and start looking good instead of trying to protect your own image with media bullshite
Are we now to start praising the man because he has finally managed to coax one decent performance from his players? Give me five or six more performances like that and I might think he is beginning to turn it round. Liverpool were very poor yesterday and we failed to beat them. Yes, we deserved more from the game, but we lost and are still bottom. With Chelsea and City to follow, Villa is a must win.
Hard to admit isnt it. Are we supposed to put him down because he got rid of the **** (except Adel) and got us straight bak up?? agreed, he doesnt necc deserve it for 1 performance, but i can gauranteei ff we have another bad one, lety will be on his back You cant hsve it both ways !
What do you want me to admit? Redknapp will get us relegated. If I am proved wrong, I will happily admit it.
12 games Queensie......and points win prizes. If we put in good performances for the next three games and get 4 points from them (given the opposition) the tide will have started to turn. Having said that I didn't see the game, only the goals, so can't really comment on the 'feeling' the performance generated. All the non QPR supporter feedback I've had has been very positive though.
yep Stan, and the ball is certainly in your court or favour. just happy to see us have a go and try. this is a top 6 team make no doubt. if we can replicate this, we will be ok. anyone think that another could do better?...if so then who? Dont bore us with the Pullis crap or hope we get Clemnt or Moyes. Sherwood has done sweet FA so who will do a better job. What other manager has got us a win at te national stadium, got rid of the **** or bought in players like Vargas, Isla etc that no other manager could im not defending HR's tactics, but i think there are a few here who dont remember where we were 5 years ago !
I started to turn against him after the West Ham game, but I am full of praise for the team selection and performance and effort of the team. Harry and the team MUST follow up on the Liverpoo game by playing as well (apart from the oggies) and WINNING! I am confident in the three points against Villa and that Harry will keep us up. I am still in shock from the loss of the point that was in the bag. Still can't face the fact that it actually happened as it did.
It depends Queens, if you're asking who could replicate 7 fairly inept performances and 1 good one then I reckon even Alan Curbishley could do a job. If Arry can get them firing like that consistently (I don't realistically expect that level every week but the same work ethic appearing more often than not) then perhaps none of those listed.
It's all about the next game. If we can play as positively and purposefully against Villa as we did against one of the big boys yesterday, I'll cut Harry some slack. But if Sunday's performance turns out to be a one-off and we slip back into the way we started the season, then, for me, nothing's changed. Must say though, after he appeared to have thrown in the towel against West Ham, all the criticism seems to have sparked him into life. He was on his feet yesterday, lost his rag at the photographers in his face and went on the attack over Adel. Long may it continue if it fires the team up
