Please see this thread for suggested competitions. http://www.not606.com/showthread.php/50214-Testing-testing As it's only 2 days I'm happy to run both. Please indicate below if you would like to take part. It would help if all selections are in before the first televised race. Thanks Ron
Love to take part, Ron. I was just thinking last night that when one door closes, another opens. Despite enjoying it at times, I never really liked BBC 606- there was too much hassle, lack of respect, and not enough variety. This site has a much better feel to it at the moment. I just hope it doesn't become all tips and nothing else. You've obviously put a lot of work in, Ron, so I'll just say "well done"- your efforts are appreciated. Tam.
That's very kind of you Tam. The main thing is that everyone enjoys the forum and therefore we need to keep a good balance and I'm always open to suggestions. Following evaluation of all the available sites, I recommended this site to the Wycombe fans and they all flooded over very early and found it much better than BBC 606. For my sins I was invited to be moderator for the Wycombe forum and we are one big happy family approaching 100 members now (far more than we had on 606). The owner and super mod are always very helpful which helps a great deal. We also have a moderators' forum. I was then made moderator of this forum and it looks as though this is going the same way so I'm very pleased. I'm glad you like it here as you were always willing to add a bit of variety on 606 and hopefully that will continue here with your riddles and who am I?.
Yes I'd back up Tamerlo's sentiments, a lot of hard work is starting to pay off Ron and a good few new 'faces' arriving onto the boards are also welcome! I'll up be up for the competition, I shall be aiming for the booby prize as my knowledge of the flat only extends to the top grade one performers! I will be well and truly found out to leave everyone in no doubts that I know very little about it!
Thanks for the comments. Any more for the competition(s)? Just a little reminder. These competitions are for fun. It's the taking part that makes it an enjoyable competition; the more the merrier because that slightly increases my chances of not being bottom every time. Oh, and if I make a mistake in the scores please let me know; it will either be due to my eyesight, fingers/keyboard or a design fault. Any errors, whatever the cause, will be corrected because I'm a perfectionist.
