I see Ephraim is named as sub for the televised game just starting. So I guess any chance of our signing him has receded. Not bothered about that. I just looked at the average age of QPR's starting XI, 31 years, Surely this is the oldest team ever to play in the Premiership, and I cannot remember any older team in League history, though no doubt there have been some. Hughes has got a massive rebuilding job there. 33 Kenny 33 Hill 32 Gabbidon 32 Young 26 Ferdinand 34 Derry 29 Buzsaky 30 Wright-Phillips 29 Bothroyd 26 Mackie 34 Helguson I would like us to sign Ben Marshall, even though Solly generally got the better of him yesterday. He has proven that he can perform at this level, Ephraim hasn't. What would he cost?
Wednesday want Marshall back on loan and Udders want to buy him. Seems he can't agree a new deal with Stoke so they want to sell him now rather than go to a tribunal. He's a good player so, if possible, it would be a good move for us to buy him just to keep him from the other two.
Don't think I'm going to be losing any sleep either, eddie. Good luck to him though, it showed initiative to promote himself to us in the first place and get himself match-fit again, and it seems to have paid off in terms of him being back in the frame for QPR.
I won't lose any sleep either, but it was good to see a loan player show commitment to the cause and show the initiative to come here, and nice to see hes looking out for our resultsm he was chuffed on twitter yesterday about our win
Is Ackers' ban a permanent one or are we to expect two weeks worth of his thoughts soon? Miss him in a wierd kind of way.
Is he banned (again) ?thought he was a bit quiet - dont worry, if he is banned then he'll turn it into 1.5 weeks ! I must have missed it - why's he banned?
The one time i saw him he looked good on the ball, whats the main gripe most would have from visibly seeing him in action ?
