I would just like to congratulate the 38 000 fans turning up, being treated to such a performance again must be very hard to take. The team are an exact image of our manager, where has his passion gone!!!!,when interviewed he rightly congratulated the fans but in no way did he give us any sort of encouragment as to how he intended to sort this mess out. What's happened to Kader Thingumybob is he going the same way as mcfadden, paying him to train and keep his arse warm on the bench at our expence.GET IT SORTED O'NEIL i've just about had an effinuff.
****e game..****e support: from the very start before some start blaming the ****e performance...We are most certainly in the ****e..
I honestly would have rather been in jail than watch that on Sunday, we had all the luck but still couldn't fluke a win. Keep us up MON but I wouldn't give him another penny to waste and have a new managerial list lined up for the summer. Yes we need consistency but we need the right man first, sadly for MON it just hasnt/isnt/will never work out. Get the new man in to stamp his style on the team and philosophy.
You will all cheer up when you beat Man Utd. Let's face it. Its the Sunderland way. You are closer to safety than you are to relegation.
He fooked leicester right up like, only two major cups and sustained top half finishes. They've been so much better since he left. And Villa only finishing 6th three years in a row, how they've set the champions league alight since he left just shows how bad Oneill did at Villa
Errm....no! 4 consecutive (possibly 5) unwinnable games coming up = relegation place for Martin and his brave boys!!!!
Shouldn't that moniker be spelt "toilet"? p.s. MON out!! p.p.s. MON back in again!!!! p.p.p.s. Oooohhhh, I don't know!
I'm afraid people have already decided mate. I remain a firm Mon in man and stuill think in time he could improve us dramatically but the die is cast for many now and I fear he will either walk at the end of the campaign or be sacked whatever league we are in. To everyone who wants him gone, who is the answer? I think whoever may come in, it scares the ****e out me as there have been some insane and ridiculous suggestions lately and all of them would be a massive disaster (especially Martinez or di Canio). If Martin could have just hobbled home in a much better style and finished 11th with ease, I think he could have clung on and turned it round in the summer but the camp is now split 50/50 for and against and for me its now an inevitability he wont be here long term and that for me means we will have lost our last genuine chance to build long term here, sacrificing the short term gain again for the long term loss. It will take ANY manager 2 or 3 years to build his team but sadly this will never happen. The next manager will be getting pelters after 12 months as well and this cycle of failure is destined to just roll on and on for another lost generation. This is about as depressing a period in my whole 39 years following the club to be honest.
The main thing for me Cest is I'm not seeing the passion I expected from MON or any passion passed onto the team. Like you I was chuffed when it was announced he was coming here. The way the team are playing I just don't understand the lack of passion, a couple of players apart far too many look as if they're just turning out for the money. I know the days of pride in playing for the shirt are long gone but sometimes our team actually look as if they couldn't give two ****s. And for a change I'm not adding Larsson to this list he clearly has passion but it all seems to be channelled into berating the referee or a fellow player, usually after he has lost the ball and fouled someone. I now think that MON came here too late in his career, if he had came here when he was first touted but turned us down because his wife was ill things would probably have been much better. Talking to a couple of me old muckers last week, still as passionate about SAFC as ever, we even started pondering whether MON had came here for his last big pay day. We have to stick with MON at this time as I honestly think a change of manager right this minute would be a disaster. People talk about honeymoon periods for new managers, TBF they are rare occurrences and usually involve teams with better squads than ours. I still believe we are more than capable of staying up if the players themselves pull their fingers out.
Tried to digest it marra, but t's late, was that a MoN in till the end of the season then **** him off. of keep him? Short and sweet mate, can't be arsed to read ower much, for me, he can go....but i can see the logic of the end of th seaon, then fucj im off.
Fear of relegation if we dump him right now mate. I would also, depending on how we play to the end of the season, let him shift the deadwood and give him one more season to turn it round.
who will want the deadwood? Lets hope Hull come up and then Bruce can hav the twats at cost - 10% discount for bulk buying. x
