Ah more Liverpool related posts, just whats needed. This is getting as bad as the mackem boards and their mag backslapping thread.
I like this post... Fair play to the lad........... F*cking hell faz! They're having a great league season! They deserve at least 4th! They are 16 points above us, because they deserve to be there! Just like we deserve to be where we are, based on the table and the results. It was 13 points before a ball was kicked today, they won today and went 16 points. So f*cking what! We wasn't nowhere near the top 4 before a ball was kicked! They've increased it 3 more! They're 16 now....whats the difference to us? We're not up there! What is your problem exactly? Our league season/push for Champions League was effectively over after the Arsenal home game, any glimmer of hope was shattered in the following weeks. Other teams have kicked on, Newcastle saw blood and have had a mighty good go at trying to get Champions League next season, when other teams around them, faltered at the time. There in-form and on song, why in anyway whatsoever is it "unacceptable" for them to be above us, by 2, 4, 8, 16, 20, 30? points? What they do, is up to them, if they are 16 points above us. SO F*CKING WHAT! What can we do about that? Why are you so bothered about it faz? They deserve to be where they are! We don't deserve to be top 4 this season...so we're not top 4! Simple as! Why is this a problem and why are you complaining about the points difference now?....as to say, 4 weeks ago? Fair play to Newcastle United!
See AB this is why I'd never be good as a mod. Once a 5th of the front page of thread is covered by boring Liverpool related threads, I'd be deleting left right and centre. You have to give the paying public what they want. Enjoy chaps, I 'm off to find a celebration of our club in this sea of sad anti Liverpool threads!
Tbh I don't even mind Liverpool particularly, it's just Dalglish. Anywhere he goes my abject hatred follows.
I used to watch Liverpool regularly when I lived in Europe, mostly because they kept playing friendlies in Scandinavia. I fell out with that club and their fans, after being caught right in the middle of the mess at Heysel and if I hadn't had ducked then I would have had an iron rail speared through my head by a 'fan'. And when one compares the self-righteous hand-wringing of the disaster of Hillsbrough with the fact that Heysel seems to have been airbrushed out of their history. No shouts for justice for the Italians and Belgians killed by their fans, no rounds of Turin or Brussels hospitals by the club's officials. Nothing. I have felt that their handling of the Hillsbrough disaster, considering Heysel, was disproportionate and distateful. And my contempt for the club deepened with the Suarez affair. Once upon a time that club meant something. Over the years, since the days of Shankly and Paisley somewhere, I am sad to say, that the rot set in and the club is nowhere near as magnificent and proud as it once was.
