http://www.theguardian.com/football/blog/2015/oct/26/premier-league-10-talking-points-weekend-action This a good point imho - hard times are coming...
I don't think any of us are naive enough to think otherwise Our December Fixtures are tough to say the least (on paper) I'd still be delighted of a finish around 10th. That would show good progress which is all we want da h season.
I agree with most of us on here, our league position will decrease in December. I hope we can be around 10th-12th at the start of march, hopefully with enough points already to secure safety. Alot of posters on here (from other clubs) think all Leicester fans are aiming for Europa league after our start, which annoys the crap out of me, i said at the start of the season, and still do now, this is a consolidation year, personally i would see it as an achievement to finish one place above where we were last year, so 13th i think? but achieving it alot more comfortably
I hope you don't mind me posting, but I hope you do make the Europa League. The better teams like Leicester do, the better the competition. Don't take that as a desire for you to win on Saturday, though. I just get fed up with the arrogance of the supposed top five. I'm old enough to remember Chelsea as a bog standard Division Two side, Manchester City in the third tier and Manchester United going 25 years without winning the league title. I want the likes of Leicester, Palace, West Ham, and Watford, of course, to do well. It is about time the 'big' sides learnt a little humility.
I agree that its time for change near the top of the premier league, but with the current funds from the champions league, its going to take something monumentally wrong at a club to dislodge them (Ferguson leaving Man U, Jose in meltdown etc) to to give others a chance because those clubs can afford to bring in the best quality, no matter the price. I really hope that Chelsea don't make it back into the top 4 and someone like WHU, Southampton or Palace make it into 4th rather than the likes of Liverpool or Spurs who seem to stale up the places between 5th and 8th most seasons.
