From where on earth is this coming from? Tony Pulis, that buffoon was at it again today making that insinuation when said: Highlighting what he dubbed "the simulation'', Pulis said: "Ivanovic's one in the first half is laughable and the lad Oscar, who's a fabulous player. This is England. We're playing in England, we're not playing in Europe. (http://soccernet.espn.go.com/news/story/_/id/1168169/tony-pulis-slams-'laughable'-blues-pair?cc=5739) Right, because diving is only a European continental thing, forget about players like Young, Rooney, Gerrard, and a host of other English players who've done their fair share bit of diving, Ashley Young especially, is as good at diving as any continental European player.
The other week, Danny Welbeck tried a pathetic dive against Ukraine and the ref did not buy it. The ITV commentators and pundits did not use the word 'dive' once, when it clearly was. The same ITV who went to town on Eduardo when he did the same thing against Celtic in the CL a few years back.
I don't think he buys hats from the club shop, he probably has to get them custom made to fit that weird shaped head he has.
