    Just read this article

    http://www.sport.co.uk/news/Football/50172/Wright_slams_lack_of_opportunities_for_Englishmen.aspx?

Says that the mags (9th atm if im not mistaken) and us (7th should be 6th because Chelsea are tossers) have the highest percentage of english players.

Yet somehow hardly any of them get into the team? You can't argue that Henderson, Bramble, Turner, Welbeck etc are quality and most importantly honest professionals who clearly deserve a chance. Instead we consistantly only choose players from the top 4, yet they have barely any englishmen to begin with.

Seems a shame that Capello doenst like the NE, our players could seriously help England.

    <ok> Good stats mate.

Thing is, NE clubs have long long been overlooked for the ENG setup. Its a shame, but I got over it about 10 years ago!

We cant even get an English manager for the national team never mind players.

I dont watch England much now, they dont really interest me.

Its basically the same muppets who keep on failing, keep getting picked in the squad
