Just a thread to spurn a little banter.

    My personal opinions are:

    1. Arsene Wenger:
Who else? 17 years at Arsenal and has delivered a legendary team, trophy's, great Football and has produced some fantastic players.

    2. David Moyes:
Recently earned the biggest job in the world, worked on a shoestring budget, bought some fantastic players and turned Everton from also rans to quite a force in the Prem.

    3. Andre Villas Boas:
When he struggled at Chelsea and then took over from Dirty 'Arry I thought he was going to be the next Juande Ramos but he has proved me wrong, stabilized Spurs as a top 5 team and done wonders for Gareth Bale playing him behind the main forward.

    4. Michael Laudrup:
Took over at Swansea and won a League Cup and a spot in the Europa League with a humble pool of talent and did it all playing Football properly.

    5. Brendan Rodgers:
Did a great job at Swansea, although Roberto Martinez laid down the foundations that set them on their way, BR took them to the next level and has stabilized Liverpool and is rebuilding Liverpool after Liverpool's downfall under Kenny Dalglish.

    6. Paul Lambert:
Worked a minor miracle at Norwich, got a job at Villa and bought in some young players and kept those youngsters focused and mentally ready for what is a mammoth task for players of little experience. He got them over the line and he should take Villa to the next level next season, underrated manager indeed.

    7. Roberto Martinez:
He has had a team of limited talent at Wigan, little funds at little Wigan with no support. Has miraculously kept them afloat for 2 seasons and won them the F.A cup. Should take the job at Malaga or Everton.

    8. Chris Hughton:
Commands respect and knows his way around his book of tactics, saved Newcastle UTD, gave us real stability and is now doing a cracking job for Norwich.

    9. Malky Mackay:
He has limited experience but did a good job at Watford and then took Cardiff into the Premier League in his first attempt and his style isn't too bad either. It's going to be interesting to see what he can do with Cardiff in the Prem next season. I for one think he will lead them to mid-table.

    10. Ian Holloway:
I like the guy, a cool character and a very good manager. Made Charlie Adam look as if he was a decent Prem player and also brought Blackpool to heady heights and has now brought Crystal Palace back to the Premier League despite not long taking the job and his style is good to watch too. I would love to see what he could do with a more ambitious club one day.

Nope, no Glen Roeder either <laugh>

In all seriousness if Alan Pardew lasts the season then I will post a picture of my own knob.

DiCanio deserves a mention. He's going to make half the Mackem squad leave!

And a special way with keeping the payers motivated.

Usually by using nice friendly nicknames that they find highly amusing.

It doesn't seem like anybody has any inclusions or exclusions on this. Is there a manager not on the list someone believes are missing?

Adkins instead of Holloway for me.

Got Southampton successive promotions, also kept Scunthorpe in the championship for two seasons on no budget whatsoever. Harshly dismissed from Southampton, reckon he'd have kept them up this season.

    Average at best.

I see Paul Lambert is after Aaron Cresswell and Luke Murphy, The direction Villa are taking is the way we should be aspiring to. Paul Lambert knows exactly how to move a club forward. Alan Pardew does what he's told and hopes to make the best of it despite being out of his depth.

It was tongue in cheek. Although he did have a talent for upsetting Mackems.

I omitted him purposely, his successes only come when large amounts of money come into play and sometimes not even then does he bring success. He is not one for nurturing talent but prefers to merely purchase it... don't really like him <laugh>
