Lots of fierce competition for the coverted 'We did an Arsenal' trophy this time round.

    The nominees are;

Chelsea - Last time winners in 2012, despite a Champions League win, Chelsea have pushed the boat out this season. After a deceptively strong start, Mr Jose became a paranoid mess. Claims of a campaign turned him and his club into a laughing stock. They also lost 4-2 at home to Bradford. They fielded a very strong side.

Chelseas European performances were rubbish. The only memory from this season will be the racism in Paris.

A strong effort from Chelsea. Will it be enough?

Man City - The worlds least interesting side once again brought cries of laughter to many with their European exploits. Terrible performances everywhere. Still yet to reach a quarter final the club limped through a relatively easy group before being outclassed by Barcelona. Nothing embarrassing about that except it should have been double figures.

Domestically they cant be arsed. Sat in second but a great chance to finish outside the top 4.

Arsenal - Lost at home to Monaco. Not just beaten but outplayed and outclassed. A Midtable French side <laugh>. Typical Arsenal put in a great performance in the second leg when the tie was lost. Easy when theres no pressure eh?

Domestically a slow start but picked up now. On course for a top 4 finish and an Fa Cup final. Both of which, they have a near 100% chance of bottling.

Liverpool - Recent played off the park by last seasons 7th placed team and winners of last seasons most embarrassing side, they had the easiest Champions League group of the lot, The Dream Bringer, Brent, has seen his side perform terribly in almost everything they have played in. A side of violent thugs, Liverpool have tried to 'stamp' their authority on the season. Literally!

Dubious honour of being knocked out of Europe TWICE.

So there we have it. Englands 4 most embarrassing clubs 2014/15. Who gets your vote?

Premiership football has embarrassed itself in Europe. Let's hear no more bollocks about it being the best league in the world.

  5. I thought about this long and hard, weighing up every angle and taking into consideration several factors, and being as objective as I can. In the end, I've gone with 'Pool.

Good start for Liverpool. Racking up the votes and currently running away with it. The 9 times winners are looking strong.

    Got to be Chelsea.

Utterly classless. Taking classlessness to a new level.

  10. I think it's only the teams who embarrassed us and themselves in the CL, Ozzie.

United were so bad that they couldn't even get into the CL.

    Can only be one team

    Liverpool are the winners

  13. Indeed, Ozzie. United were so bad that they never got into a position of being able to embarrass themselves in Europe.

Routemaster FC are a very close second, a substandard Euro team now who cant compete with the big boys of PSG

  15. Custard, I think it's safe to say that there isn't one English team that has acquited itself with any honours in Europe, this year.

Oswalk once again struggles to comprehend whats going on.

Oswald, United havent embarrassed anyone this season. I dont recall any of our fans being racist or any defeats to French sides. I dont believe we were knocked out of europe once, let alone twice and weve previously played in a quarter final.

It's hard to see where weve embarrassed the nation. As has been pointed out, we didnt qualify. Had we, then Englands name wouldn't have been tarnished with shameful displays on and off the pitch.

England needs United. The premier league have said so and this seasons embarrassing European campaign shows just why.

So lets keep it on topic. There will be plenty of time to discuss United in mext weeks, England, where would they be without United, thread.

I look forward to your participation, Oswald.
