    Lingard couldn’t hit a cow’s arse with a banjo.

He’s only in there because of the club he plays for.

Hyperbole will go into overdrive after we beat p1ss poor Panama ...but then the serious stuff starts & we will go out at the first opportunity.

Harry Kane aside, the players are not good enough.

I’ve never, ever seen Dele Alli have a good game ?

Do you drink a lot of gin? We won! Not in a convincing style but compared to the krauts and Brazil we got the result

Tunisia were only there for the draw, which is bollox, so as a neutral I'm glad they didn't get it. Impossible to say how England will cope will a team which puts them under pressure.

Pleased with the win tonight but realistic enough to know we are coming home before they’ve crowned the winner of Love Island.

I thought Ashley Young was excrement tonight, and Dele Alli even worse.

That lardiman is a right fecking nob jockey of a pundit ain't he coming out with all that upsetting crap......................(only kidding)

I'm not a fan of England either if honest. They don't exactly give us natives much to be a fan of in every competition they enter or scrape into. Always an excuse and even if this time it was true it is generally the Ref's fault. I would not give many a rating above 5 tonight.

Agree young shouldn’t be on pitch although his corners were ok and lead to goal , Alli took a knock and wasn’t at his best maybe should of gone off earlier and rashford should of started imo

I didn't understand why the VAR got switched off after the Tunisia penalty - we had two that were much more obvious.
That said, there wasn't much there to scare the big guns, although Germany have more to worry about right now.
We were very slow in tge second half, but Tunisia offered nothing. We barely deserved the win, but we got it. Tunisia barely deserved anything, and got nothing.

England likely to play Poland or Senegal in the last 16.

Would be great to stuff the Poles yet again, what with us also leaving the EU and all that <cheers>

Actually enjoying the World Cup a lot just now. Some great game (Mexico, Spain, ) and tge Russians seem, touch wood, to have licked up their hooligans, while everyone else has just gone for the football. I can't remember the last time we got to day 6 without a street-fighting headline.

Agreed, it been terrific so far with not many drab matches [South Korea made a dog's dinner of beating Sweden yesterday].

I had £20 on Belgium and a tenner on France to win it. I feel fairly confident. Argentina & Brazil don't look great this time around.

Although who knows what will happen when TC gets out is Putin is a **** banner. I would expect nothing less from any self-respecting Millwall fan.

For anyone who fancies watching a Scottish football disaster should watch BBC 1 at 10:55. Jim Todd, aka Toad, the long haired hippie in the tartan suit, was my room mate.

Watch Gary Lineker on the BBC.

Wtf does have to lurch his head forward every 10 seconds? It's very strange.
