For the first time in my life I think I'll be supporting France.

England are **** anyway and all the players picked are either past their best or over rated. I hate the annoying band that follows England around playing that dross music.

Not going to lie, I found myself getting more excited about the French team than England for the Euros. I'm sure it'll change when we kick off but I've lost all national pride now.

I don't bother watching the qualifiers, find them incredibly boring! but when it comes to competitions and the pubs are rammed etc i support them. Usually i've picked some other team in a work sweepstake and follow them as well to make it abit more interesting

Will always support England, not a traitor.

We will be amazingly **** though, doubt we will get past group stage.

I support Newcastle far more than England so I'll be cheering on Cabaye and Ben Arfa more than the ****ers wearing white

I love the euros and world cup, love the buzz you feel all day waiting for the clock to strike a certain time so you can head down to the pub with a big group of mates, everyone happy to buy rounds, electric atmosphere as everyone around you discusses formations, starting line ups, substitutions and goalscorers, betting slips left right and centre!

I don't particularly like England as a national team and I dislike a lot of our players, but I'll still be there with bells on...

Having said that, far more interested in the olympics!

Maybe I'm deluded for both club and country but get aboard the Rep. of Ireland love train. The way I see it Ireland will beat Croatia, lose against Spain and draw against Italy which will be good enough for knockout stage.IF the Toon can challenge for CL place(who'd had thought last August, certainly not me) then there's hope for Ireland <ok>

I'm actually hoping for an England side without the aging usual suspects. Get some young talent in, even if they're not really the finished article, and hope for an OK-ish tournament - - getting out of the group stage would do. Use the Euro's as the first step in the warm up for the World Cup with the idea that by that time we might have the makings of a decent squad

Glad others have the same opinion as me on the England front. I'm a Newcastle supporter, not an England one. I don't see it as being a "traitor" as nobody says I have to be patriotic, I definately see myself as more of a geordie than an "Englishman".

For that reason it's always Toon befor England, and as a result I'll be supporting any team with a Newcastle palyer in at the Euros. Allez France! I hope Cabaye and Ben Arfa rip those arrogant twunts a new arsehole.

Lost interest in watching England a long time ago here. No pride in wearing the shirt anymore. I'll be supporting all the sides they're playing against because I would love to see the current generation put in their place once and for all.

I too lost all interest in England a while ago but completly Toon mad. A day doesn't go by when I'm not reading up on the latest news or checking our players twitter accounts. I'll still be watching Euro '12 but will be paying close attention to our players only.

Personally I'd love to see Pearce in charge for the Euros, his knowlege of the youth system meaning he takes along quite a few of our younger players.

My mam's Irish so I will of course be rooting for them too, really looking for this competition to be honest. I don't mind other people being apathetic towards the national side, so long as they don't begrudge those who choose to be patriotic. <ok>

The only over 30 I want in the england squad is Ashley Cole. A ****, but he still has ability unlike a certain Mr Terry, Mr Lampard or Mr Ferdinand

This really hoping for Pearce as manager and for people like terry, lampard, gerrard, green out of the squad and letting people like jack rodwell, phil jones, chris smalling, jack wilshere (if he were fit) oxlaide-chamberlain.

I love my country and I'm a traditionalist in that I believe if you were born in this country, you should support your nation whatever the endeavour. Bearing that in mind I hope we smash France to pieces. I don't really want Benni or Cabaye to go at all but I suspect they will. If they do I hope they have nightmares against us. I know some would say "if he has a brilliant tourno we could lose him" with Benni but I've never subscribed to that kind of notion. He wants to play for his country. He'll be a happier individual if he does. If he is happier he'll do better for us.

But no I hope France go out in the group stages and we win the whole thing. We won't but its my duty to hope we do and support the team.

    This. I'd play:

    ---------------Hart----------------
    Richards---Jones--Lescott--Baines
    ---------------Parker--------------
    ---------Wilshere--Milner----------
    Sturridge------Rooney-------Young

Subs: Fielding(all other back-ups don't want to play, would want Foster), Smalling, Rodwell, O-C, Welbeck, Walcott, Barry.

Then again, I fancy Wales would slaughter you with that...
