Did we all forget about it? I did.
    Could be a decent game.

Will it be the 'Rooney Record' game?

Hopefully it's a good game. The Swiss will want to confirm qualification as soon as and will hopefully bring it to the England team. Could be a decent test.

I hope Mr. O Goals beats him to it. Both on 49 for England ATM.

Now we've qualified, and we're at home, let's see what we can do please Roy.

Let 'em loose. No more borefests. Let's get the country excited again.

    Other games of interest tonight...

    Macedonia v Spain
    Slovakia v Ukraine

Spain should move closer to qualification while their two rivals take each other on in Zilina (yes, THAT Zilina of Trencin away fame). There's a decent chance that all three will go straight through from this group, particularly if Ukraine win.

    Sweden v Austria
A draw will take Austria over the line. Sweden are a point ahead of Russia - but Russia really should take 9 points from their last 3 games, so I reckon Sweden MUST win tonight if they want to avoid the playoffs. Nail-biting time for Febbos...

    That's what I'm hoping for.

Play Walcott and Chamberlain out wide. Bomb forward at every moment. Just go for the jugular.

For ****s' sake Woy, try something different. The fact you've still got the job is amazing, make the most of it.

I have a good mate from North Wales that thinks Woy is the best manager that England have ever had, he thinks he should stay in charge forever.

If I wasn't English I'd probably think the same.

Either him or Graham Taylor, anyways.

So who's willing to guess Woy's thinking tonight? My money is on just two changes from Saturday: Cahill in for Stones, and Sterling in for Vardy.

Maybe Delph will get a start too, and perhaps Gibbs will get a go at LB. But who knows.

It'll be the first team tonight.

Given that Wilshere and Henderson are out, along with Lallana (and of course Sturridge and Welbeck), Saturday's team wasn't as far from the first team as you might think.

Oh dear, Smalling is in, alongside Cahill.

Delph replaces Barkley and Sterling comes in for Vardy.

    England's CBs in these qualifiers:

    Cahill Jones
    Cahill Jagielka
    Cahill Jagielka
    Cahill Jagielka
    Cahill Jones
    Cahill Smalling
    Stones Jagielka (San Marino)
    Cahill Smalling

I fear it's looking like Smalling is now preferred to Jagielka.

Out of all those CBs used, Smalling should be bottom of the list by a ****ing mile.
