    I switched on at 140-5

I can't see the Saffers taking as many as 30 overs to get these runs. England MUST beat Bangladesh and hope Ireland don't pick up any more points. Otherwise they will be coming home early!

Well, England have matched up their 3 poor bowling performances thus far in the WC with an EVEN WORSE one with the bat! I hate to say it, but an early flight is on the cards! England don't deserve to progress onwards frankly.

The ridiculous thing is, that Struass was out trying to launch Peterson for six third ball of the match!

Great gentlemanly conduct from Kallis. He asked Prior if it carried- Prior said yes - Kallis walked.

You don't see that very often in the modern game!

Yes, but maybe if South Africa had been 160 for 8, he might not of! :cheesy: Graeme Swann finished third top scorer of our innings that says all you need to know. Another poor performance by the bottom 7 batsmen, I bet they haven't made 100 runs between them in all 4 matches!

Bopara and Trott are on form at least. Shame Strauss got such a silly dismissal going for the big hit without even playing himself in.

Beauty from Jimmy Anderson to get rid of de Villiers, who didn't even know he'd been clean bowled! Game is still just about on.

If England's tail where here, I'd back them to lose, but 6 wickets for 50 runs? Come on!

Absolutely. Swann needs to take another wicket or two in his remaining overs to give us a real chance. And another review!

Yardy looking not great, but he's picked up a wicket? Dare I hope? Dare I? If England could of bowled this well vs India or Ireland they'd of won! And if they had batted as well as they did in the other 3 we wouldn't be in this mess!

If I was Strauss I'd use Broad and Swann to finish this now, all or nothing. 40 runs is nothing, but nor is 3 wickets.

I think at the moment, keep the spinners on. Not only are they picking up wickets, there are very few runs coming. 44 runs to a bunch of nervous tail-enders is suddenly quite a lot.

Why couldn't every game at this World Cup be as exciting as each of England's?

Steyn averages 8! He's hit half of those already! Every time Yardy bowls I can't help feeling he's going to get smacked. Broad and Anderson still have lots of overs left and will cause the batsmen much more trouble! No point saving overs as this will be over before the end!

Broad and Anderson have 6 overs left each, didn't quite realise that! And I've cursed this now, saying that runs weren't coming. Swinging back towards SA, this game.

I can't take this any more, no matter how good this pitch is for spinners, why not use your best bowlers Strauss? They've all taken cheap wickets.

47 balls left. 41 yorkers and an over from Swann?
