Sunday 1pm, England v Panama, from somewhere in Russia. Live on ITV. Let's hope we put our chances away this time and don't have another dodgy ref. Who, if anyone, should be dropped and what will be the score? 3-0 England.

Oh and will Pouchy have the foresight to lump his money on Harry Kane scoring this time? <whistle>

Out - Sterling and Young. Did I mention Sterling. If not, he should be dropped, not rested, just plain old dropped, preferably from a great height on sharp, pointy rocks.

In - Rashford for Sterling. I do think Sterling should be dropped if I haven't mentioned it. And Rose for Young.

In case anyone has any doubts I think Sterling should be dropped.

I would see if Alli is fit. If he is I'd play him. If not I'd bring in Loftus-Cheek but I would drop Sterling anyway.

You not a fan of Raheem then? If he's lucky enough to get another chance to start the next game he will have to excel. Else it's the chop.

    Think Lingard has more.

He's usually good, at least got himself in the right positions and is only young.

    13 appearance for England.

    Sterling 39 appearances!

He really hasn't done much for us but I still feel he can be an effective sub.

He is a good player but I agree he was ****e last night and usually isn't much good for us.

Needs a goal to settle himself.

The open goal Sterling missed <grr>

Sterling spent most of the game surrounded by loads of defenders. They needn't have bothered, he couldn't hit a cow's ass with a banjo :undecided:

Personally thought the formation was stupid. This ridiculous experiment with Walker has to end. Sterling is turd at this level, drop. Young has never been good enough, drop. Lingard was abysmal, last chance. Alli if not fit has to be dropped.

I would go to a back four, bring Rose in. This is where Southgate has screwed up as the central mid options aren’t good enough. Alli? Cheeks? Dire? Jordan Crabman? We offer nothing there and it’s a huge issue. We have what we have so I’d go with Alli, Henderson and Loftus-Cheek. Kane flanked by Rashford and Lingard. Simple 433.

Rose has to come in for young, might get away with it v Panama but not v Belgium.

Loftus cheek was good wben he came on, certainly play him instead of Ali if he is injured.

And Rashford for Sterling. His form for England is poor. Rashford offer much more of a goal threat and looked to actually beat players something which we’ll need against Panama who will no doubt sit back and defend deep

Panama will play deep and be physical. A relatively low tech approach is called for. Play big, quick lads who can mix it in the box and quick lads outside who can fire the ball into the box. Rashford, Kane and Loftus Cheek all have a physical presence. Trippier and Rose at wing backs. Lingard and whoever you prefer between Dier and Henderson.

If we get a goal ahead on the hour so they need to come forward, put on Vardy and Sterling (he is not a ****e player, just a player who is playing ****e at the moment) to capitalise on tired legs. Even Wellbeck.

Raheem Sterling. Overrated spoiled brat. He is made to look better by those around him at Man City.
