The Young Lions are hopeful the duo will be available but they trained away from the main group on Monday morning after coming off in Thursday's 3-0 win over hosts Poland. Chelsea midfielder Chalobah has a suspected groin problem while Southampton winger Redmond suffered a hamstring scare. Highlights of England’s Euro U21 Championship match against Poland They are being assessed by the medical team ahead of Tuesday's game in Tychy. England, who are now based in Krakow, qualified for the knockout stages for the first time since 2009 after winning Group A. They beat Slovakia and Poland, having drawn their opening game 0-0 with holders Sweden. Head coach Aidy Boothroyd told his pre-match press conference: "We know we've got a very tough opponent and we have a great deal of respect for the German team and it will be a very difficult game for us as well. "But I hope that we can execute the game plan. If we can we will have a good chance." The rest of Boothroyd's side trained with Will Hughes and Jacob Murphy ready to replace Chalobah and Redmond. The pair came on for them against Poland with Norwich winger Murphy scoring the second goal. please log in to view this image please log in to view this image England U21 vs Germany U21 June 27, 2017, 4:00pm Live on please log in to view this image

The bliddy jerrmins are definately the better team at the moment, and they have been for quite a while, unfortunately I'm wondering about this being set up for young Jordan to be a hero with penalties . . . . but, knowing 'our' luck, he'll probably cock-up I'd like to make it perfectly clear that I still don't give a toss about England, mind . . . . just young Jordan
In a shocking turn of events that surprised exactly nobody the Germans beat us on pens. I said as the two lads walked up that they'd miss, didn't look confident.
