Just flicked on to see Sterling score an absoloute beauty in the Under 17's World Cup. I'm not quite sure how good Rwanda Under 17's are, but take nothing away from that strike! Curled in top corner.

He might be a tad small, but my god is he quick. He's already too good for the under 18's and I'm sure he'll be pushing for a few first team games next year. Maybe a few CC appearences next seasno to see how he gets on playing against bigger stronger men.

Good luck to the lad though, looks like he's going to be a great player!

I reckon his next challenge is the reserves. The Liverpool coaches tend to set him challenges every so often. They on purpose switched him from the right side to the left in one game and he walked it,and he was just as effective on the left as he is on the right.I'm convinced he's two footed.

To early for him to get in 1st team keep him where he is and give him some reserve time
I think if he came in to the 1st team to much pressure would go on his young shoulders
No imo let him develop a bit more he is already a good player but his age will go against him

    This is only my thoughts

if you're good enough your old enough. If he does well in training / pre-season games why not involve him. He should be included in the 25 squad at least and they should play him in Carling Cup games to gain him experience. Hopefully they do not decide to loan him out.

I agree with ye the lad is really good has pace and a good shot on him
I watched the game where he scored 5 of the 9 goals fantastic finish with a few of them. You could be right Kenny might decide to give him a few games as a confidence thing

Hey the lad might surprise us all and fly through the ranks we will have to wait and see
We have some really good players waiting to come through and Kenny will be including them as he did last season
OK sometimes he was forced to use the youngsters through injury's
Flannagan and Robinson were great they just walked straight in to the 1st team not forgetting Kelly before he got injured

We shall see because i have trust in Kenny&co

He can't get in the 25 man squad as he doesn't qualify for it as he's only 16,He's still on the under 21 list and will be for the next five years.Martin Kelly has only just entered the 25 man squad as he's just turned 21 and adds to the ''homegrown list''.Jack Robinson who still qualifies for the under 18s is also in the under 21 list, and John Flanagan at 18 is also in the under 21 list so are Nathan Eccleston,David Amoo and Tom Ince.

Rwanda u17's or not I dont think any keeper would have got to that. Really hope he gets a chance this year. Dont bother with Downing just get this guy into the team
