James Ward-Prowse will probably play tonight in the U21 game in Qatar. Being shown on BT1 at 6.15 (k.o. 6,30).

The only thing that annoys me when I watch u21 is thAt the attackers are so selfish and 9/10 always shoot instead of passing it to the better option

 

JWP plays in a far more defensive way than he does for us and when he tries a one-two it is never given back to him. Going to get torn between this match and the one day match against Sri Lanka. Probably have a better chance of beating Qatar.

 

Its an under 20's tournament, not under 21's.

 

Just mentioned that one to watch is JWP. Peter Taylor said he was talented and a pleasure to work with, but should score more.

 

Isn't that true of all England teams? aka Sturridge and Welbeck and Andros?

 

Saints would probably have more representatives here if we didn't have 4 with the u19s, especially Chambers.

Lovely strike from Obita for the goal. This is the 1st time i've seen Obita and I can see why he has been linked with some premier league clubs. Has a good left peg on him

 

JWP seems to be the pivot for everything. Getting forward a bit too, which is good. 1-0 to England at HT.

Missed that because I turned over for the cricket, but in general we don't hear as much from James as we used to.
