The lad we signed from Peterbrough, Jonathan Edwards, looks really talented as well. I just watched the u23s highlights against Watford and Will Annan looks good as well. Strange how Edwards and Annan don't have squad numbers for the first team but a lot of the other u23s do. For the first time since I've been supporting City, I'm optimistic about our academy producing good talent that could very well get first team call-ups in the not so distant future. Tymon, Mannion, Annan, Edwards, Bowen, Ter Horst etc. are all very decent players in the making; just a question if we will manage them well and give them a chance instead of letting them linger in the reserves longer than necessary and/or release them.
