Why is there so much of a problem in some of the Slavic nations with racism? Is it because they don't have that many black immigrants? More importantly, why do they only ever get a slap on the wrist from FIFA/UEFA? Will my questions ever end? Yes.
I just simply don't know Jip, all I can offer is another anecdote ... I worked with a guy from Serbia and we were chatting about the Paralympics and why Serbia don't have much of a representation, he told me that having a child with a disability was seen as having weak DNA and in the past these babies would be left in the woods for the wolves to eat rather than be a drain on the families time and resources.... They appear to be a very cold people but love a drink.....
Make it happen. The football authorities can pay lip service to anti racism campaigns. Obviously pissy little fines dont get the message across. Booting them out is the only message that will work.

The Balkan states have little or no immigration so monkey chants and throwing bananas is a result of not being told week in week out that racism is wrong. Back in the 70's and 80's black football players here were subjected to the same sort of treatment. Black history month is pointless in a country without black people. They hate their neighbours so much they started a war and there is a lot of evidence that the Serbia/Croatia war was started because of fierce football rivalries. The referee at the U-21 game had to run past Serbian players trying to start fights with black players to get to Danny Rose to show him the red card. Totally ignored the violence aimed at the English players and coaching staff. Ban the U-21's and full Serbian national squad from the next two world cups and Euro championships. A fine only would be a joke.
