If you was appointed England manager for the Euros and everyone was fit what would your starting line up be? Everyone has always had different opinions on the national team and it would be good to see what everyone thinks. And who would be your captain. Heres my team

    Hart

    Walker
    Richards
    Jones
    Baines

    Gerrard (C)
    Wilshere
    Parker

    Young
    Walcott

    Rooney

Subs- Stockdale, Lescott, Rodwell, Beckham, Chamberlain, Defoe, Owen

Maybe some people wont agree and while i dont think its good enough to win us the Euro as i dont think we are good enough, i think it will hold its own and put some pride back into the three lions.

Some will say Owen has not played for a long time but we all know what happens when you put Michael Owen in a England shirt. He sticks the ball in the back of the net. Alot of players gave up on international football because of Capello so people like Ben Foster, Paul Robinson, Luke Young, Emile Heskey if selected would probaly come out of international retirement.

I dont expect us to win the Euro just put some much needed pride back into the shirt

Owen hasn't played for Man Utd - or even been name on the bench so he is undeserving of a call up.

Foster, Robinson and Young don't want to play so leave them out.

Beckham and Heskey aren't international or even Premiership standard any more so leave them too.

    Hart

    Richards
    Cahill
    Jones
    Cole

    Rooney (C)
    Gerrard
    Wilshere
    Parker
    Young

    Bent

Gerrard had his chance as captain but didn't stick for whatever reason so lets give it to Rooney as hopefully it will make him less of a dick on the pitch - if not then Parker.

Would start Rooney on the wing and the formation to become a 442 as they go forward like he does for Man Utd.

For me, the old guard need to do one....

Terry, Cole, Lampard... maybe keep Gerrard.

There's enough good young players with the passion to play for England now, give them a go.

And have Stuart Pearce as manager, sod fat moneybags Harry. Get psycho in. He knows what passion and commitment are all about
