Still cant understand why Ryan Shawcroft keeps getting over looked for the squad as he has been a solid defenders over the last few seasons, but guess its playing for stoke that is the problem, same as Crouch who has one of the best goal records for england but never gets a chance anymore. For England: Wayne Rooney has scored 3 goals in 16 games. Crouch has scored 8 goals in 12 games. Maybe this is where we go wrong that players are picked on who they play for and how much they get paid instead of who is in better form and plays best in the team. Think someone like Sturidge would play well off of someone like Crouch.
